The 2017 “Grow Here” television, radio and branded content campaign has been named a finalist for the Platinum PR Award by PR News.
The campaign was produced by BigHouse Production with Daniels-Brown Communications for the Association of Washington Business (AWB). The 2017 campaign profiles three Washington State businesses – Alaffia, The McGregor Company and M3 Biotechnology.
By sharing compelling stories about unique Washington businesses, the “Grow Here” campaign serves as an annual showcase of employers and innovators in the state. The campaign is an important part of AWB’s efforts to represent the diverse Washington business community.
“The finalists of the Platinum and Agency Elite Awards represent the innovative, risk-taking and strategic communicators setting the benchmark of excellence in the communications arena,” said Amy Jefferies, vice president of marketing for PR News, in announcing the finalists.
BigHouse has produced the “Grow Here” campaign each year since 2015 for AWB, Washington State’s Chamber of Commerce. AWB’s statewide membership includes nearly 7,000 businesses, representing 700,000 employees.
PR News’ Platinum Awards celebrate the ingenuity and leadership behind the year’s most outstanding communications initiatives. The AWB “Grow Here” campaign is a Platinum PR Finalist in the Public Affairs category, along with other campaigns and brands, including KFC Corporation and IBM.
